Miro frequently performs solo recitals, in venues ranging from small house concerts to major concert halls. His solo concerts are known for their improvisational freedom, creativity and passion and feature original compositions, jazz classics and free improvisations.
Miro Sprague Trio
Miro frequently performs in the classic piano-bass-drums trio format. Some of the musicians Miro has worked with in this format including bassists Marty Jaffe, Dave Robaire, Martin Wind and Linda Oh and drummers Paul Wiltgen, Jonathan Pinson, Christian Euman and Mark Ferber.

The Miro Sprague Quintet began performing together in late 2013 and was featured on Miro's latest studio recording "Blue Dreaming". The quintet performs original music and arrangements by Miro and other band members and features Miro on Piano, Eric Miller - trombone, Michael Zsoldos - tenor and soprano saxophone, Marty Jaffe - bass, and Paul Wiltgen - drums. The quintet has performed at a wide range of venues and festivals on the east coast including a recent performance at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival.
HOLOPHONOR is a fearless collaboration of seven of today’s most dynamic young jazz musicians. Featuring original music from each band member, their performances bring together imaginative compositions and improvisational freedom with an infectious spirit of joy and group camaraderie. The members of Holophonor met in 2012 after being selected to attend the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where they studied under the guidance of jazz legends including Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. As members of the Monk Institute, the group has performed in Israel, Japan, Sweden and Turkey in addition to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. In 2014 Holophonor released their debut album and their second album "Light Magnet" was produced by Wayne Shorter and released on Oct 6, 2017 on Alpha Pup/World Galaxy Records.
